ONE SIMPLE IDEA
Barrier to the Orange
About the Skin; Peeling through the Barrier to the Orange

For most people, the skin is the barrier to the goodness that lies inside the orange. Dealing with that skin is the first step.
Who doesn't like oranges?
Oranges are the perfect food as medicine.
This favorite breakfast food is a potent source of vitamin C. They taste wonderful and there are so many good things that can be said about them.
A single sunny navel orange provides beta-cryptoxanthin, a carotenoid that may help prevent colon cancer. And the juice of the orange has been shown to elevate HDL cholesterol ("good") while lowering LDL ("bad") cholesterol.
When thinking about eating an orange, if you have trouble getting through that barrier, remember this ONE SIMPLE IDEA:
Just one serving of the fruit covers your daily requirement of vitamin C.
Heck, go ahead, eat two!
And don't forget to eat the white pith which is an easy way to increase your pectin intake.
You can't go wrong with oranges; they are a delicious, simple and easy snack, once you battle that barrier.
By far, the best way of enjoying this fruit is to put the entire organic orange through a powerful juicer to get the most of all the nutrients.
